News and Updates:

Key Club meets on Tuesdays at 3:15 in the Auditorium.

What is Key Club all about?

Key Club is a volunteer organization, an international club, part of the Kiwanis family. We create and participate in tons of events to help children, the elderly, and our community!

What is required from its high school members?

A minimum amount of 50 services hours is required for credit. To be eligible to attend the New England District of Key Club Convention in the spring a member must have 30+ service hours. Fifteen minutes of credit will go towards your total number of service hours every meeting you attend.

To become a member you must pay a fee of thirteen dollars. Dues are collected so that Key Club can offer many services, service program material, leadership training, conventions and conferences, professional development, fellowship opportunities, member-support information, KEYNOTER magazine, club mailings, and literature on member development, membership recruitment, public relations, and club officer training. The money goes to New England District of Key Clubs and Key Club International so that we can all receive the information listed above.

*The early bird dues deadline is the middle of October. Ask an officer for an exact date. Please try your hardest to get your money in by then! We will keep reminding you at the meetings!

*Also, don't forget to turn in your activities contracts if you have not already filled one out because you are in sports or another club. See the Key Club bulletin board on your way up to the third floor by the steps in a folder.

What happens at the meetings?

Elected officers (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Bulletin Editor) conduct meetings to inform you of upcoming projects and give you the opportunity to sign up for those events. Your hours of service will be recorded and you will be able to check on those as well. You can also submit other community service projects you work on independently (see an officer for details).

Annual District Convention Information:

Medical questionnaire must also be submitted with the money to the treasurer. Convention overview and rules are also provided for your information.
